STUDENTS RECEIVE GRADUATION GIFT
Chris Reed Foundation Provides Ceremonial Caps and Gowns
BAY AREA HOUSTON, TX – May 21, 2020 – More than 70 graduating seniors of Clear Creek Independent School District walked across the stage to receive their diplomas while donning caps and gowns provided by the Chris Reed Foundation. The foundation donated $5,000 to the district to assist students facing hardship who may not have otherwise been able to join their peers in commencement activities.
“The Chris Reed Foundation seeks to support socio-economically challenged youth achieve their education and trade goals,” stated Kimberly Campbell, foundation board member. “From helping students with high school costs and class fees to providing postsecondary awards for college and trade school expenses, we at the Chris Reed Foundation want to help pave the path for future professional and vocational success.”
